We invite you to discover the wonder of North Bali; a coastal area in Bali popular with visitors who want a laid back atmosphere without all the hustle and bustle of South Bali. This breathtaking area is made up of three main districts; Lovina; made up of beautiful quiet coastal villages with black sand beaches and coral reefs, Seririt; a pit-stop and the junction for roads heading south over the mountains and Singaraja; which is the largest town on the north coast and the former administrative capital of Bali.

Begin your exhilarating journey entering into the steeper mountain region of Bedugul. We will stop at Pacung amidst beautiful rice terraces where you will be able to admire the views and takes some pictures. After that we will visit the colorful local fruit market of Candi Kuning where you can sample local fruit. On reaching the attractive mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan, we shall visit the delightful Ulun Danu Temple dedicated to the Goddess of the waters (Dewi Danu). Another fantastic monument is the Pura Meduwe Karang, the most impressive temple in north Bali. This unusual temple is host to all manner of stone carvings, many of them ghoulish. The temple is dedicated to Ibu Pertiwi (mother earth) and daily offerings are made to ensure that crops grow on infertile ground. Take pleasure in learning about the Bali culture and keep your eyes open for the winged lion symbol of the Buleleng Regency. An interesting thing that you may notice is that the streets are wider than anywhere else in Bali, the gardens larger and there are some distinct ethnic communities reflecting the city's past as the major transit point into Bali. The tour continues north along the winding roads which lead to the impressive Gitgit waterfalls where some tourists enjoy canoeing. We will pass by scenic clove and coffee plantations as we reach the lowlands of Singaraja and Lovina. Be amazed at the region´s famous black sand beaches, there isn´t anything quite like it. There are many access points to the beach and the coast road often runs very close to the sand. Explore the beaches for a real sample of life on the north coast of Bali.
