Program details

Experience an adventure of a lifetime and hop aboard one of our 4x4 vehicles for a thrilling trek in some of the most dramatic landscapes Mother Nature ever conjured. Enjoy the stunning landscape as we travel up the mountains to an altitude of 1,400 metres.

Equipped with helmets and torches you will follow a long and old canal as you venture into this beautiful mystic world of springs and wildlife. The hike isn’t incredibly steep (except in short stretches), but it can be slippery at times so make sure you wear hiking boots.

On this unforgettable hiking trail you will be able to explore the beauty of the Springs of Marcos & Cordero through its 13 tunnels. Discover one of the best trekking paths on the island and admire the incredible views and the most amazing exotic plants as you go through tunnels, waterfalls, river beds, pine woods, laurel forests and the Tilos forest.

After the last spring we will follow a path down to the Barranco de Agua ravine until we reach the laurel forest of Los Tilos. A biosphere reserve since 1983, it is covered with a lushly beautiful rainforest that’s literally crawling with life. This moist, cool, natural wonderland is one of the most magical spots on the island, a must-explore place where you can wander among the diverse flora and fauna and the largest laurisilva (laurel) forest on the island.

Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up from Cancajos, Puerto Naos and Fuencaliente areas.
