Program details

Sail to Kangaroo Island and discover a world of full of wildlife with sea lions, wallabies, koalas and, of course, kangaroos. This is the real Australia, a land that truly merits to be referred to by that oft-abused term, unique. Join us for the guided tour to a natural wonderland without equal.

The brief drive from Adelaide to Cape Jervis passes scenic landscapes that will get you in the mood for the adventure ahead before the 45-minute ferry crossing to Kangaroo Island. On arrival, head to the beach for a guided walk among a colony of wild Australian sea lions. Continue to Vivonne Bay for a two-course lunch, followed by a spectacular free-flight display of Australian birds of prey. Spend the afternoon at Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native Australian animals including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and echidnas.

The tour of the park continues through to the rugged southern coastline for a walk to the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. The former provide great photographic opportunities and stunning sea views, while for the latter follow a boardwalk down a rugged cliff face to reveal a spectacular rock archway. It offers a natural nursery and safe haven for playful New Zealand fur seals that can be seen resting, swimming and playing in the waves or on the rocks.
