Explore the beauty and calmness of Rottnest Island with this fascinating circumnavigation by coach. Visit some of Rottnest's most spectacular locations including the Wadjemup Lighthouse and the rugged West End while enjoying a complete commentary of the island by the passionate and knowledgeable crew.

This tour will provide you with an insight into Rottnest's cultural and historical heritage – including a notorious prison for aborigines – as well as diverse wildlife and fauna. You will also have a chance to step outside and have a stroll along the boardwalk at the majestic look-out point at West End.

Rottnest Island is 18km off the Western Australian coast, being 11kmlong and 4.5km wide. About a century ago the Island was declared an A-Class Reserve and it has been a popular local holiday destination for over 50 years now. Rottnest was settled by Aboriginal people until about 7,000 years ago, when sea levels rose separating the island from the mainland: Aboriginal people did not have boats that could make the crossing. Aboriginal artefacts on the island date from 6,500 to 30,000 years ago, however evidence suggests human presence possibly as early as 70,000 years ago.
