Combine whale watching in the famous Faxafloi Bay and the natural wonders of the Golden Circle, a scenic route that loops out of Reykjavik to central Iceland and back. The three primary stops are Thingvellir, Gullfoss and the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains geysers.

The EL-12a route involves whale watching in the morning and an afternoon exploring the Golden Circle. You’ll be picked up from your hotel by our shuttle bus between 8.15am and 8.45am for the whale watching tour, which sails at 9am from Reykjavik's old harbour. After exploring the wonders of the whales and seabirds of Faxafloi Bay, return to the harbour around midday. At 12.30pm, you'll be picked up by a shuttle bus in front of our ticket office for the Golden Circle tour. Visit the top historical sites and natural phenomena in the country, Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir, along with the hot spring town Hveragerði. This tour lasts between 10 and 11 hours, including transfers.

The EL-12b route involves whale watching in the afternoon and an evening discovering Golden Circle. You’ll be picked up from your hotel by our shuttle bus between 12.15pm and 12.45pm for the whale watching tour, which sails at 1pm from Reykjavík's old harbour. After seeing the whales and seabirds of Faxafloi Bay, return to the harbour for 4pm. You have time to explore the Whale Watching Centre, the harbour or the city centre before heading on the Golden Circle tour at 6pm. Visit Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir. Savour the romance and tranquillity of the sub-Arctic wilderness. This tour lasts 12 hours, including transfers.
