Program details

Come and discover the enchanting fishing village of Puerto de Mogan in this relaxing boat trip along the rugged south-western coast of Gran Canaria. Many say that Puerto Mogan is among the most picturesque towns on the island and it’s hard to argue once you’ve seen the narrow, cobbled streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses and covered in colourful bougainvillea and hibiscus blossoms.

After being picked up from your hotel we’ll head straight for picturesque Puerto Rico harbour where you’ll board a glass-bottom boat. We’ll set off along the rugged south-western coast of Gran Canaria, sailing past the marvellous beaches of Anfi and Taurito. Keep your eyes peeled; - if you’re lucky you may even spot a playful dolphin or two or a pod of pilot whales, a common sight in these waters.

Soon we’ll arrive at Puerto Mogan, hidden in a secluded location among dramatic cliffs. You’ll have plenty of time to explore this picturesque fishing village, dubbed Little Venice, after its network of bridges and canals. Stroll around the narrow cobbled streets with higgledy-piggledy whitewashed cottages with flower-filled wrought iron balconies. Have a look around the Friday market where you can find some great bargains to take home with you.

Enjoy a drink or an excellent meal at one of the may pavement cafes and fish restaurants overlooking the pretty little harbour. Relax on the town’s gorgeous sandy beach before boarding the boat for the return trip to Puerto Rico. An ideal way to visit one of the most beautiful spots on Gran Canaria.
