Visiting the many highlights of this captivating region, this full day tour begins with a visit to the multi-coloured rock formations of the famous Pigeon Valley and the picturesque fairy chimneys of Uchisar. Then it’s a panoramic view of the area from the top of Uchisar castle before moving on to the spectacular Goreme Open Air Museum where you can see several churches built into caves by Christians between the 10th and 13th centuries.

A stop for lunch is given in Avanos, a small town which has settled on both banks of the Red River (Kizilirmak) and is famous for its’ ceramics made with the red clay from the riverbank. The next stop is in Pasabag where you can see mushroom-like fairy-chimneys with multiple caps and stems situated in the middle of a vineyard. We then walk through Pasabaglar, which used to be known as the Valley of the Monks. A tea break is given here. The tour then continues through Devrent and Zelve Valleys, each boasting strange and wonderful shaped rock formations and chimneys.

Cappadocia is completed with a visit to Çavusin village and its’ cave church, dating back to the 5th century AD.
