Enjoy a day in Greece while visiting Kusadasi! Samos Island is just 12 miles in distance from Kusadasi and it takes about an hour and a half to cross by ferry. Highlights on the island include the typical Greek architecture, café bars and tavernas lining the seafront, and the birthplace of the ancient Greek mathematician, Pythagoras. Whilst on the island it is possible to rent scooters or a car for the day so that you can sight-see at your own leisure or discover one of the many hidden beaches for a spot of sun-bathing or a refreshing dip in the sea. As well as shopping for Greek souvenirs on the island, there is the chance to shop in the duty free shop on your return to the Kusadasi port.
