Program details

Join us for a fascinating glimpse of one of the great wonders of the natural world with this trip to see some of the planet’s largest mammals in action. Every year grey whales migrate to the warm waters off Baja California to hibernate and mate. It’s an event that offers visitors to Los Cabos the opportunity to see some of nature’s most majestic creatures in action.

The two-hour-long whale photo safari takes keen photographers and wildlife fans or anyone else to the whale sanctuary at the bay on a thrilling adventure to admire these massive mammals.

This is an educational, exciting and fun adventure that is fun for all the family. Whales love leaping in the air and playing with their young. They are very tactile creatures and the calves have been known to approach boats to see what is going on.

The excursions take place on fast, all-weather inflatable craft that hold up to 12 passengers. However, the whale photo safari is available only between December and April, when the creatures are in their breeding grounds. There are usually three trips per day during this breeding season.
