The Cappadocia region offers some of the most breathtaking, exciting and unique photographic opportunities in the world. Famous for its extraordinary landscapes ranging from barren desert-like plateaus to lush green valleys to unique volcanic rock formations and fairy chimneys to cave houses and churches carved centuries ago – Cappadocia is the perfect playground for photographers of all skill levels. You can see so many interesting and old rock churches, those beautiful and the antique paintings on the wall is worth for you to take photos. Join us on a Photo Safari where we take you by jeep and on foot to the best vantage points, hidden gems and cultural highlights – all working with the light and time of day to get you to the right places at the right time, photographically speaking. Our Photo Safari provides you with a local guide and expert photographer so that you may get the best photos, whether you are a professional or beginning photographer.


There are two routes to choose from, the first one takes you through the valleys of Göreme National Park. You'll pass through Swords Valley, Rose Valley, Cavusin Village, and Love Valley. During the tour you can see several rock-cut cave churches, hidden churches, different formations, and all the colours you can imagine. Sometimes to take the best photos you will walk and other times it will be while driving. The second route goes through Mustafapasa Village, the valleys of Gomeda, Uzengi and Pancarlık valley and Ortahisar Village. In Mustafapasa (formerly known as Sinasos in Greek times) you can take photos of the wonderful, old Greek houses and narrow streets. In Gomeda Valley you will see beautiful pigeon houses, hewn from the rocks and in Pancarlık and Uzengi Valleys there is a chance to see centuries old, rock-cut, painted churches. Finally, Ortahisar is famous for its' friendly inhabitants, picturesque stone houses, narrow streets and lovely churches as well as the castle-like rock formation after which the town is named.


Others: Please be sure you have plenty of battery power, memory cards and good walking shoes. If you use a tripod for your style, bring it along. For most shooting locations there will be considerable amount of light hiking/walking to reach these remote locations. Please advise if you have any mobility issues please advise and we can work around this. If you are using a digital camera, we can burn your photos onto a CD or DVD at the conclusion of the tour.
