Venture off the beaten path as we take you on a tour of Los Angeles’ melting pot of ethnic enclaves. On this engaging tour you will gain a deeper understanding of these communities, learning how they have lived their day-to-day lives for decades as though they never left their home countries.

America’s ‘City of Angels’ is a metropolitan city situated along desert flatlands between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Famed for its high-octane glitz and glamour, this dynamic city is home to a mind-boggling mix of nationalities. On this tour you will get to observe these communities as you tour some of LA’s most vibrant areas. We will introduce you to the traditional homes, architecture and cultural hotspots of these neighbourhoods. You can expect to feel as if you have arrived in the very countries that these ethnic groups have come from. Signs in foreign languages, long-established 'hole in the wall' snack shops, eateries and ethnic markets line the streets making each visit an adventure. Learn how these enclaves came about, what makes them unique and where to find some of the city’s best and most authentic cuisine. Enjoy sampling delicious savoury and sweet food from countries such as Korea, Mexico and Thailand as well as Russia, Ethiopia and Armenia.

As you walk and ride the metro through each neighbourhood you’ll discover a treasure trove of offbeat areas, from Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination site to Korean karaoke bars and Thai Spirit Houses. This fusion of ethnic diversity is a great adventure tour that reveals LA’s lesser-known yet compelling multicultural heritage.
