Hop aboard and join a voyage of discovery in the waters off Gran Canaria in search of some of the friendliest creatures on the planet with this dolphin watching cruise. Watching these playful animals as they skim through the waves is an unforgettable experience and one that reminds you of the beauty and grace of the natural world.

Your adventure begins at the Puerto Rico docks from where we sail out into the vast expanses of the Atlantic. Over the years, a remarkable 29 of the world’s 79 dolphin species have been spotted in the waters around Gran Canaria. Keep your eyes peeled for the fleeting shadow of a dorsal fin cutting through the waves - if you're lucky you may see a whole pod leaping out of the water, a magical sight you'll cherish for the rest of your life.

The most common sighting is of bottlenose dolphins, which live in small family groups of up to a dozen animals. These elegant creatures can reach speeds of 50km/h and on a really good day you might even get to see them feeding on shoals of mackerel or sardines. Other species sighted in these waters include striped dolphin, the rough-toothed dolphin while sightings of the common minke whale and the sperm whale have also been recorded.

The ocean is a big place and while sightings cannot be guaranteed, dolphins are spotted in four out of every five sailings.
