Take a peak into Melaque and Barra de Navidad, two of the small, pretty fishing villages that dot the series of beaches known collectively as Costalegre. The name Melaque is used to refer to the three villages of Melaque, San Patricio and Villa Obregon, and the tiny village of Melaque has been a popular retreat for generations of Mexican people. Wander tranquil Melaque beach, the west end of which is sheltered from large swells and therefore perfect for swimming.
