Program details
Discover the beauty of Mexico’s coast at Puerto Vallarta. Mexico has some impressive coastal towns filled with traditional life and other attractions, not to mention the general beauty of the sites. This tour takes you to all of Puerto Vallarta’s main landmarks as well as to some fun activities that will leave a pleasant memory of the town.
Begin with a drive around the gorgeous residential zone known as Marina Vallarta. See the lush golf-club and the magnificent yacht club before heading out to the heart of Vallarta. Arrive at the downtown area and head for a stroll down the Malecon, or border walk. There, discover the walk’s many beautiful statues, among them the famous one of a sea horse. You will at all times be accompanied by a guide who will give you brief informative lectures on the art’s history. Also admire the area’s buildings, such as the Municipal Palace, the Main Square and the Guadalupe Church.
Throughout this walk, your guide will point out some interesting stores. But don’t burn a hole in your pocket before visiting the Flea Market, for a true Mexican market experience. After that, head south of the bay, passing by the amazing residential zones Costa de Oro & Conchas Chinas and Mirador de los Arcos. Stop at the best vantage points for taking incredible pictures. The last stops are a riverside restaurant and a tequila factory, where you learn how tequila and raicilla are elaborated. Don’t think for a moment you’ll leave without tasting these traditional beverages.
