Program details

Visit the picturesque streets of Oporto downtown with this exciting tour. You will have the great opportunity to travel around and explore whilst comfortably seated in the eco-friendly electronic tuktuk. You will have the chance to learn about the history of downtown Oporto, which since 1996 has been a Historical Heritage Site.

Discover the beautiful landscapes of Oporto river banks whilst learning interesting details about this postcard-worthy area; delve into the history and culture of the city whilst enriching your knowledge. Board the Rabelo, an authentic Portuguese boat, which in the past was used to transport cargo and people, for a graceful trip along the Douro River.

Relish this iconic river cruise that will take you from the quaint traditional fishing village Afurada to Freixo. You will see the six bridges that connect Oporto and the idyllic city of Gaia. You’ll no doubt notice how each one has their very own distinct and singular style: the emblematic Dom Luis bridge and its spectacular arch; the Arrabida e Freixo bridge, once the longest reinforced concrete bridge span in the world; the Infante D. Henrique bridge, one of the most elegant of its type; the Maria Pia bridge, Gustavo Eiffel's first masterpiece; the Sao Joao bridge, with its span of 250 metres; and last but not least, the Freixo “double” bridge. From the unparalleled vantage point of the cruise you will be able enjoy the breath-taking scenery and nature at its best around the Douro River.
