Program details

Enjoy an evening show in the unusual underwater surroundings of the Isla del Lago, the only such venue in the world. Watch a spectacular variety show featuring Canarian folklore, carnivalistas and much more – all from a vantage point four metres below sea level.

This dramatic venue was designed in the Seventies by visionary architect and artist Cesar Manrique, who was from the neighbouring island of Lanzarote, and the setting offers an incomparable backdrop to a variety show that has become a Tenerife legend.

Hosted by one of the island’s most popular showmen, the performances will open your eyes to the razzmatazz of the famous Tenerife carnival, whose glittering and outlandish outfits give Rio more than a run for its money. Prepare to be overwhelmed by these dazzling entertainers backed up by an orchestra.

And this being Tenerife, a night out wouldn’t be complete without enjoying some traditional Canarian folk dances such as La Isa and El Tanganillo.

You will also be treated to a complimentary San Francisco cocktail or cider as the perfect accompaniment to the performance.

Start/opening time: Wednesdays at 9pm. Show starts at 9.30pm.

End/closing time: At 10.45pm.
