Program details

Take a walk on wild side in Natura Parc zoo one of Mallorca’s best kept secrets. A great day out for all the family is guaranteed on this special reserve dedicated to the welfare of the animals. Come along and meet the mammals, birds and reptiles that call Natura Parc home. The zoo was founded by a family of animal lovers and their passion is evident throughout.

Come face to face with angora goats, kangaroos, fallow deer, guanacos, zebras and many, many more. Admire white cockatoos, trumpeter hornbills, American kestrels, black-necked swans, demoiselle cranes and flamingos. See the collection of turtle, including the common snapping turtle. Watch native Mallorcan donkey, goat and cow species in their native habitat.

The fact that the Balearics are islands has protected their flora and fauna from invasive species for centuries. Autochthonous breeds have therefore been able to develop their own characteristics and so local animals are able to withstand blistering summer temperatures and the bone-chilling cool humidity of winter. The Mallorcan black pig is renowned for the quality of its meat while the Ibizan dog is considered one of the strongest and most loyal. See also Mallorcan turkeys and Casta Grossa, Escampadissa and Mallorcan pigeon breeds. The spirit of the park is based on the three main pillars of any zoo: environmental education, research and conservation. With your visit, you collaborate in projects that aid the recovery and preservation of endangered species.
