Program details

Spend a day on the neighbouring island of Lanzarote, visiting the resort town of Playa Blanca at the southern tip of Lanzarote. We'll make the crossing by glass-bottomed boat so watch out for dolphins and pilot whales and observe the marine flora and fauna through the boat's 32 viewing panels. There's plenty to at Playa Blanca, whether you want to laze on the beach, do some shopping or explore the nearby volcanoes.

We'll disembark at the modern Rubicon Marina where you can go shopping, enjoy a relaxing drink on the terrace of the many sophisticated bars and cafés or have lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants with a wide selection of local and international cuisine to choose from. Around the marina you will find an attractive selection of exclusive boutiques, restaurants, bars, art galleries and many other attractions. Bridges, wooden walkways, swimming pools, lively squares, quiet alleys and peaceful gardens all invite you to discover and enjoy a world of luxury and romance.

Playa Blanca itself is an unspoilt resort with miles of sandy beaches. Make the climb to the dormant Montaña Roja volcano for some unforgettable views over to Fuerteventura. Explore the nearby Nature Reserve of Los Ajaches with its otherworldly volcanic landscapes and fossils from the Pilocene period. Walk to the nearby fishing settlement of Playa Quemada for some great seafood and then enjoy a beer or a coffee in Playa Blanca before catching the boat back to El Corralejo.
