The waters around Fuerteventura are positively teeming with life from the tiniest fish to some of the largest mammals in the world. This half day excursion is an ideal introduction to scuba diving under the supervision of qualified PADMI and CMAS instructors. You'll dive in a natural shallow pool off a reef with amazing underwater rock formations and a vast array of marine life from seahorses to angel sharks.

After arriving at the diving point just outside Corralejo, you'll be kitted out with a wetsuits, flippers and diving gear. Your friendly instructors will take you though the theory fist. You'll learn how the breathing apparatus works and how to communicate underwater. The next step is to practice what you've learned in a shallow natural pool. The instructors will be close by at all times as you get used to the equipment. You can take things at your own pace and should you need to go over anything for a second time they will be more than pleased to help you.

The diving point itself is situated in a shallow pool off a reef with fascinating rock formations. The area is teeming with marine life, you're sure to see blue-fin damsel fish, parrot fish and wrasse and if you're lucky you may even catch sight of a ray or a gentle angel shark. A brilliant opportunity if you’ve always wanted to give scuba-diving a go.
