This tour will enable you to view some of the city’s most fascinating and historic landmarks while taking in the sites and locations where top TV shows and movies have been made. You’ll have the chance to walk in the footsteps of some of Hollywood’s most renowned celebrities at the Chinese Theatre, where scores of film legends since the 1920s have been leaving their mark in the form of footprints and handprints.
See Olvera Street, the place where Los Angeles was founded in 1781; visit Hollywood, where the stars live and work in the film and television capital of the world and the home of the Oscar ceremony; explore Beverly Hills, home of the rich and famous, Sunset Strip, playground of the stars, and Farmer’s Market, famous for its inimitable shopping and eating places. We’ll swing by Rodeo Drive, where the stars shop in exclusive boutiques such as Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Chanel and Bijan, and take in Melrose Avenue, known for its trendy shops and restaurants. We visit either Venice Beach, where muscle men and women meet to pump iron, or Santa Monica, with its 3rd Street promenade bustling with fashionable cafés and exciting shops.
