Program details

Have a great day out on the beach and learn to surf like a pro. Due to their location in the Atlantic the Canary Islands are Mecca for surfers from all over the world. You'll start by learning the theory and basics of surfing, learning how to catch waves faster and stay safe. Then once you've done with practising on dry land it's time to head for the ocean and hit the high point of day, surfing the Atlantic breakers on a pristine beach.

The courses are designed for all levels of surfing prowess, for complete beginners, intermediate surfers as well as the most advanced. You can choose from 1, 2 and 3 day courses. All courses include hotel pick up and drop off and start with a safety briefing and theory class in the surfing school. Then we'll do some stretching on the beach before practising our moves on dry land. Next it's time for the first practical session in the water.

After a picnic lunch we'll go back into the water for some more practice. The day will end as we view the photographs of you surfing the waves. Four different activities are available every day: the Surf Safari, where you will learn to ride the best waves (suitable for all abilities); Stand-up Paddle Surfing, a rapidly growing sport originating in Hawaii (no experience is necessary), Bodyboarding: great fun and a brilliant way to learn how to stand up on a surfboard and Kite surfing: where you use the wind to help you reach top speeds.
