Step back in time with a tour of Cyprus’ top historical and archaeological attractions. Take a full day excursion from Paphos and discover the impressive Kolossi Castle, the 2,000 year old Kourion Amphitheatre as well as the Erimi Wine Museum and enjoy a delicious meze lunch.


We set off from Paphos and make our way to the first stop: Erimi Wine Museum. Soak up the history and taste of the local wines produced here, and you’ll have the chance to buy a bottle or two if you wish. After, we make our way to the stunning Kolossi Castle located about 11km west of Limassol. Its impressive square exterior will be the first feature to strike you, but delve deeper into its interior and you’ll find out how it was once under the rule of the Knights of St John and is a top example of military architecture on the island. Its list of visitors, including Richard the Lionheart, will also astound you. Once the castle tour’s finished, it’s time to head to the ancient city of Kourion; one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Cyprus. An important kingdom city, it boasts a treasure trove of history, including a 2,000 year old amphitheatre where you can take a seat and admire your impressive surroundings. You’ll travel back in time as your guide paints of portrait of its dramatic history and you can see how in the modern day, excavations are still continuing. During the tour we also make a well-deserved stop at a village house for you to enjoy a traditional meze lunch.

Start/opening time: The tour is available on Thursdays and Saturdays. Pick up between 8am and 8:50am. Customers should call 48hrs before the tour to confirm the pick-up.
End/closing time: Drop-off between 5pm and 5:30pm.
