Experience the beauty of the majestic Riviera Maya with our Sian Kaan excursion. Located on the east coast of the Yucatán peninsula, Sian Kaan is the Mayan term for ‘where the sky is born’, and represents the largest protected area in the Mexican Caribbean, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987.

Here you can immerse yourself in a myriad of vibrant colours and organic shapes as we uncover the beauty of the world’s second largest coral reef. Let your curiosity take over as you explore tangles of mangroves that weave into clear crystal waters. This protected marine zone is home to a remarkable flora and fauna including a plethora of interesting bird life, along with playful resident dolphins and turtles. Having discovered these natural wonders, our captain will invite us to relax, soak up the Mexican sun and revel in the untouched beauty that is Sian Kaan.



An excursion for those with an adventurous spirit, our three-hour tour begins at Punta Allen and includes lunch and a drink on the boat. Special requests, such as vegetarian options, can be catered for. Don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit, and an extra set of clothing incase you get wet! You will also need some extra cash for the national park and pier fees. Meeting in the hotel lobby, tours can depart between 06:45 and 17:30 and are led by an experienced, professional guide in both Spanish and/or English. A good general level of fitness is required for this tour.
