Fuengirola has an enormous amount to offer, from Roman ruins to the sensational Bioparc zoo. This mini-train is a great way to get around this sprawling resort, making it easy to reach popular attractions such as the port, the Miramar shopping centre, the street market and much, much more. Take a one-way ticket or the hop-on hop-off ticket with which you can get on and get off as often as you like during one day as often as you wish at any of the five stops on the route.

The mini-train operates every 45 minutes, with stops at the following locations: Plaza Theresa Zabell, in the heart of Fuengirola and named in honour of a local Olympic gold medal winner; the Roman archaeological ruins at Finca el Secretario, discovered in the 1970s, this site contains the ruins of a saltworks, a pottery and thermal baths dating from the first century; the Fairground, one of Fuengirola’s best loved locations and the site of the colourful street market held every Tuesday and Saturday; Bioparc a zoo zoo specializing in breeding endangered species and tropical forest education and the Miramar shopping centre – packed with boutiques, cinemas, crèches, beauty, food halls, bars, cafés and restaurants all under one roof.
