Program details
The Isla Magica theme park recreates the golden age of Seville in the 16th century, when the city was at the peak of its powers and it was the gateway to Europe for goods from the Americas, Africa and Asia. There are eight themed areas and 26 rides – plenty to keep you occupied on what promises to be a rip-roaring action-packed day in Spain’s hottest city.
As its name implies, Magic Island is a place where reality and fantasy merge. Each themed area boasts its own thrills and spills. Seville, Gateway to the Indies has six rides, including the incredibly entertaining ‘lake balls’, three shows, four restaurants and two shops. Maya World has two rides, two attractions and a shop. Gateway to America has five rides, a lakeside amphitheatre, a fortress, six restaurants and more. Amazonia has five rides, including the epic Jaguar roller-coaster with its string of 360° loops. The Pirates’ Hideout, the centrepiece of which is a massive galleon, has two rides, two shows and four restaurants among its attractions. At El Dorado there are two rides, including Flight of the Falcon, and the cool Condor Circus. The futuristic Metropolis Spain has three rides, two diners and a shop. For children, there’s The Fountain of Youth area, which has six rides and a theatre.
As well as rides and attractions, there are also almost 20 shows for the whole family, with all-time favourites such as Snow White and the Three Musketeers sharing the bill with local productions starring Andalusian horses or aliens. All in all, a great day out for the whole family.
Start/opening time: 11am or 4pm for the evening pass (5pm in winter).
End/closing time: 11pm (midnight in summer).
