You will have the chance to discover the Royal Palace, the city’s top attraction; the prominent National Monument; the iconic Skinny Bridge, which crosses the Amstel River; the vibrant daily street market, Albert Cuyp Market; and the gorgeous houses along the canal. Visit the picturesque windmill on the Amstel River and enjoy a stop at a diamond factory where you will see the traditional methods of polishing.

After lunch you will head off to the small town of Marken, the striking town of Volendam and the windmill village of the Zaanse Schans. This incursion into the countryside will reveal the jewels of traditional Dutch culture, which will no doubt inspire you. Visit fishing villages in Volendam and Marken and enjoy a tour around the world famous Zaanse Schans, where you will step into Holland’s traditional windmills, and then continue on to Vodendam and Marken. Here you will have the chance to explore these small and charming fishing villages.

Discover the local wooden shoemaker on the former Island of Marken and pay a visit to the cheese factory. Stroll also along the famous dike by the harbour in the lively town of Volendam. The tour will take you back to the starting point of Amsterdam. You will also receive a ticket for a canal cruise which you can enjoy at your leisure.
