Enjoy all the thrills and spills of Australia’s only night-time 4x4 rainforest and glow worm tour. Experience the magic of one of the world’s great habitats and see secretive nocturnal creatures in their natural setting.
Your tour begins when you are picked up by your friendly and knowledgeable guide at your Gold Coast hotel. Then head off in the luxury 4x4 vehicle to the summit of Mount Tamborine for the off-road adventure. Stop off along the way to take in panoramic views of the twinkling lights of the Gold Coast skyline from a secluded lookout point.
Reaching the summit of Tamborine Mountain, savour supper at the café, with a choice of delicious homemade cakes and biscuits accompanied by a frothy cappuccino, cup of tea or warming hot chocolate. Then as the sky darkens and the stars start to emerge, head out on a guided walk through the rainforest on a hidden trail to Curtis Falls. Here, gleaming in the darkness, thousands of twinkling glow worms make their home, providing the visitor with and awe-inspiring and truly unforgettable sight. On the return journey there is the chance to do a spot of stargazing and take in the dazzling constellations of the southern hemisphere.
With its combination of exciting off-road driving and fantastic insights into the nocturnal wildlife living in the rainforest, this three-hour night-time tour is a sure fire treat for all the family.
