Program details

Live a series of unforgettable experiences as you delve into the heart of the historic Jewish Quarter of the beautiful Cannaregio district of Venice. Not only will you come upon abundant culture, you will also discover an amazing open-air market, countless fascinating shops and gorge on some delicious Italian gourmets, including three authentic Venetian wine bars where locals come to unwind after the daily grind.

On this gastronomic tour you will be able to taste the famous Venetian bite-sized versions of local delicacies known as cicchetti. At first sight they look like the small Spanish tapas, but for sure you won’t find these scrumptious bites anywhere else in the world. Enhance each tasting with a good glass of local wine, as well as your knowledgeable guide’s tips and tricks on how to make the most of your tasting.

This is a true insider’s tour of Venice, far from the typical touristic hotspots. Mingle with the locals and get a feel of what the authentic Venice if like – not to mention the fact that you will hardly find as much good food and wine on any other Venice tour. Plus, the limited amount of people allowed on each tour will give the outing the sensation of enjoying a pleasant outing in the company of a close group of friends.

As well as the history-packed Jewish ghetto, the bustling market and the wine bars, you will also be invited into an authentic Venetian mask-making workshop – a true Venetian experience.
