Program details

The tour starts at Puerto Pañuelo, 25 Km out of town, in Llao Llao. Get there either with the tour service, the regular "3 de Mayo" buses, or in your own car.
Sail for 30 minutes to Puerto Anchorena, located at the middle of the island's shoreline, at the narrowest part. Walk with a guide or on your own along marked trails. The most outstanding walks are the former National Nursery Trail, the "Antonio Pargade" Interpretation Trail, Pto. Gross and old settlement, cave paintings and Playa del Toro, and the Balcony on Cerro Bella Vista, among others. All the corners of the island, with their magnificent views, wealth of history and impressive natural surroundings, make the walks thoroughly enjoyable.

You can have lunch at Huaiquil Restaurant, which was re-inaugurated a few years ago and offers an innovative menu. The tour continues by boat to Peninsula Quetrihué where there is another major attraction - Los Arrayanes National Park. A boardwalk leads through the magical atmosphere of a unique forest of magnificent "arrayán” trees growing over 15 meters tall, with their thick, cinnamon-colored trunks with white patches.
