Program details

Your guide will meet with you at your accommodation, and then embark on a personalized tour (by air conditioned transportation). Tour heads to Sabaneta, a very religious community where El Peregrino´s cheeseballs (buñuelos), the largest in town, will open your appetite as your guide shows you around the main square and around the intriguing food aisles.

This experience provides a closer approach to what locals use for their preparations based on corn, pork, and beef among others. Upon arrival to the first stop, customer is free to walk around to take photos and/or use restrooms. Cafeterias and restaurants are found along the way thus we recommend bringing cash for extra purchases since not all shops take debit/credit cards. Also in Sabaneta village, one of the most delicious blood sausages is made at El Hijo de Estela´s, a special recipe that has passed on successfully over generations.

Last stop will take place at another amenable village such as Envigado, home of the greatest Chicharrón (pork bellies). At Gloria´s glory, your guide will entertain you with Gloria´s achievements in her saturated wall of fame as Medellin´s tastiest dishes are brought to your table for a one of a kind experience. All samples and beverages are included and you don’t need to pay for anything. After meal you are returned to hotel or any other destination required.
