This city tour combines fun with Fairbanks history, Alaskan craftsmanship and winter activities. Visit Santa at his home in North Pole (Weekends ONLY in January and February), and have your picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the Santa Claus House. See the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and stop by its viewpoint, the perfect spot to explain the astonishing engineering of the pipeline, the oil field in Prudhoe Bay, and the Alaska oil industry.


Stop by The Morris Thompson Cultural Center, Fairbanks’ Visitors Center, and enjoy the great exhibits about Interior Alaska. Are you looking for an authentic Alaskan gift? Follow the craftsmen and learn how they cut the beautiful Alaskan birch bowls and create your own gift bowl at The Great Alaskan Bowl Company.


Choose to visit the Museum of the North (Monday – Saturday), an extraordinary destination for dramatic architecture, and discover fascinating stories about Alaska’s cultures, places, and wildlife. OR visit the sensational Antique Auto Museum (Sunday) and see a stunning display of historically significant Alaska Automobiles from Alaska’s early territorial days.
