Mention Mendoza to any Argentinian and they will think ‘wine’ and this private tour of the region’s wine heartland will offer you a tantalising taster of the region’s signature product. The tour takes you to three well-known wineries from a selected circuit, where you can explore the facilities and, of course, taste the goods.


In the morning, visit two wineries where the knowledgeable guide will explain the different varietals of the region, its processes and the care, breeding and fractionation of different types of wine. This also includes extensive information on the systems of vine and irrigation. At noon, it’s time for the third winery visit and we take part to a traditional lunch where we implement the technique of sampling.


There are optional visits to a number of wineries in the Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu winelands in the central region. The Maipu estates are: La Rural, Tempus Alba, CarinaE, Viña El Cerno, Lopez, Navarro Correas, Benegas, Familia Zuccardi, Trapiche, Domaine St Diego.


The Lujan de Cuyo estates are: Achaval Ferrer, Tapiz, Catena Zapata, Alta Vista, Nieto Senetiner, Cavas de Weinert, Luigi Bosca, Lagarde, Cap Vistalba, Chandon, Norton, Villa Decero, El Lagar de Carmelo Patti, Seventh, Viniterra, Dolium, Clos de Chacras, Sottano, Melipal, Villa Flichman, Ruca Malen, Belasco de Baquedano, Terraza de los Andes, Renacer, Mendel, Domino del Plata, Dante Robino, Piatelli, Kaiken and Viña Cobos.


Lunch is ate any one of the following wineries: Familia Zuccardi, Lagarde, Lopez, Seventh, Villa Decero, Clos de Chacras, Belasco de Baquedano, Norton, Cavas de Weinert and Ruca Malen.



Meeting/pick-up point: Mendoza city centre hotels.

Duration: Full day tour.

Languages: Regular tours only available in Spanish. Private tours are available with a bilingual guide (English and Portuguese).

Others: Clients staying in Posadas (30 minutes from the city), are not eligible for the regular pick up service as this is only available to hotels in the city centre. There is the option of a private service where the clients will be picked up at the central zone of Posadas.

Others: Visits to wineries and lunch are subject to change, always maintaining the highest quality of service.
