Raise a glass or two to Mendoza and its greatest product with this private tour of the famous Lujan de Cuyo wine route. You will visit two wineries from a selected circuit of the best estates in the region, touring the facilities and enjoying wine tasting sessions in each one. Learn about the different varietals of the region, its processes and the care, breeding and fractionation of wines from Mendoza. The presentation will also include extensive information on the systems of vine and irrigation.


At noon, there will be a break for a delicious lunch of regional cuisine washed down with local wines. After a brief lesson on how to taste wine, feast on a lunch with a table of cold cuts, cheese, pickles, vegetables, fresh fruits and dried fruits. These delicacies will be accompanied by wines selected from the cellar.


The Lujan de Cuyo region wine circuit features some of the top wineries in Mendoza, and this tour will visit any two of the following estates: Carmine Granata, Lagarde, Don Arturo Lopez, Catena Zapata, Highlands, Dante Robino.


The Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu regions are the main wine producing areas are in Mendoza. Lujan de Cuyo is Argentina's first defined wine appellation and is known as the ‘land of Malbec’. Its vineyards are planted at altitudes between 800 and 1,100 metres above sea level and Malbec grapes thrive in this region with a mean annual temperature 15C.

Languages: Regular tours only available in Spanish. Private tours are available with a bilingual guide (English and Portuguese).

Others: Clients staying in Posadas (30 minutes from the city), are not eligible for the regular pick up service as this is only available to hotels in the city centre. There is the option of a private service where the clients will be picked up at the central zone of Posadas.
