To begin with, the tour kicks off with a brief but entertaining audiovisual presentation that will tell you all about the history of the famous family business. Continue afterwards by visiting the old part of the stunning cellar built way back in 1922. As you breathe in the dank underground air you can almost feel the many centuries that this cellar has seen pass through your senses. Along the way, the charming and eloquent house guides will personally give you a wide array of explanations about the process of elaboration of cava. They will also provide you with many priceless tips and tricks on how to make the most of your cava tasting experience.

Hop aboard a little train and roll along part of the 20 kilometres of underground cellars. Wrap up your visit in the tasting room, where you can try various samples of Freixenet cava. You can after acquire various items related to the world of champagne and wine in the store Dolores Ferrer.
