At 9.00am you will meet your local guide for a 4 hrs tour of the most famous monuments in the city including the Florence eternal masterpiece: Michelangelo’s David and visit a few of his other works in the Academy of Fine Arts Museum. Onward to the Cathedral with the famous Dome by Brunelleschi and the gilded bronze Doors of the Baptistery, named by Michelangelo the “Gates of Paradise”. From there we continue to Piazza Signoria, the political heart of Florence since the 1300’s when Florence was considered the richest city in Europe. We are beckoned to Ponte Vecchio, the bridge which attracts so much curiosity not only for its unique charming appearance but also to the fabulous jewelry shops lining the bridge.To finish a visit of Santa Croce church, after the Duomo the most important in Florence, where Michelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli are buried.
