Program details
Day 1 Chihuahua
Arrival to the international airport of Chihuahua where you will be received by Viajes Dorados staff and transferred to your hotel. You will receive your travel documents that contain hotel coupons, train tickets and your itinerary.
Later (your tour will be scheduled at your arrival) you will enjoy a guided City Tour of Chihuahua visiting Pancho Villa museum (closed on Mondays), the Cathedral, the State Capitol and its famous murals of the Chihuahua state history, the colonial Aqueduct and the residential districts.
Lodging: Hotel Sicomoro, Hotel Comfort Inn or Hotel Ramada Encore / subject to availability.
Day 2 Chihuahua-Creel
Breakfast included at the hotel. This morning at 9:00 am your tour guide/driver from Viajes Dorados will contact you at your hotel front desk to take you to a van transfer to Creel, on the way, we will visit a Mennonite Community where we will enjoy a traditional light lunch (included) based on Mennonite cheese, jam, pickles, bread, cookies, tea and coffee; elaborated by the Mennonites, also we will visit a Mennonite Camp, then, we will continue to Creel. On the arrival guide tour around Creel visiting a Tarahumara Community, the Arareco Lake, the Mushroom Valley (rock formations), the San Ignacio old Mission (a Tarahumara church) and a Tarahumara cave. Rest of the afternoon free to enjoy this picturesque Tarahumara village a “Pueblo Magico”

Day 3 Creel- Divisadero/Posada Barrancas

Today at 10:30 a.m. approximately you will be transferred by the hotel staff to the train station. The train leaves Creel at 11:15 a.m. and arrives to Divisadero/Posada Barrancas at 2:00 p.m. approximately. Upon arriving you will be transferred by the hotel staff. After you check in, you will have your first encounter with the majestic Canyon while you enjoy your included lunch at the hotel restaurant.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walking tour along the rim (please check schedules at the reception, they will provide the tour) and enjoy the Tarahumara sunset from the hotel balconies. Dinner included at the hotel.

Day 4 Divisadero/Posada Barrancas-Los Mochis
All Aboard!!
Breakfast included at the hotel, then free morning for walking tours on your own to different views points like Mirador Piedra Volada, challenge your spirit of adventure in the hanging bridge that crosses a small canyon or ride in the aerial Tram or zip line (optional-not included) or simply buy nice crafts from the Tarahumaras.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the train station by the hotel staff to board the train Chepe at 2:00 pm approximately to Los Mochis. Arrival at 9:00 pm approximately and transfer to the hotel by its staff.

Day 5 End
Transfer to the airport by the hotel staff two hours before your flight. End of services
