If you are passing through Rome, then don’t miss the chance to visit the picturesque island of Capri on this one day excursion.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Journey through the picturesque region of Castelli Romani

* Ferry ride to Capri

* Panoramic tour of Anacapri

You will board a ferry at Naples and head for the Island of Capri, also known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean.

The excursion will start with a bus drive through the fertile Roman countryside and the region of Castelli Romani, dotted with charming mediaeval villages. On arriving at Naples we’ll board a ferry, arriving at Marina Grande harbour in Capri in around 45 minutes. Once there you can take an optional excursion by motorboat to the Blue Grotto where sunlight, passing through an underwater cavity and shining through the seawater, creates a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern.

After returning to the port, we will take a panoramic tour to Anacapri, situated at 280m above sea level where you can enjoy amazing views over the Bay of Naples. There will be free time for lunch and to explore the island at your own pace. The excursion finishes at Marina Grande where you will board the ferry back to Naples. There a bus will be waiting for you for the three hour drive back to Rome.

Duration: Approximately 13 hours.

Start/opening time: At 7.30am.
