Frascati Wine Tasting Tour is Rome's only group wine tasting tour to visit the Frascati Region. The best of Italy lies just an hour outside of Rome. The beautiful Frascati Region is home to forested hills, stunning castles and incredible lakes. The wine estate visited on this tour was specially chosen as it is the oldest and most beautiful in the area.

Our passionate and friendly English speaking guides will tell you all you could care to know about the wines, the region and Italy. The guided tour will teach you all about the fascinating history of wine growing and its place in ancient Rome. It includes a walk around the vineyard as well as a generous wine tasting led by a professional sommelier of three wines, carefully selected for their taste and quality.
You will be transported from the bustling centre of Rome in an air-conditioned car out to the dramatic countryside where emperors of Rome used to build their holiday homes. The tour lasts for three and a half hours, the perfect amount of time to grow an intense appreciation of the work of the local vineyard owners, and to bask in the beauty of the Frascati region.
The Frascati wine itself has a close history with the capital, being loved by popes, nobles and regular Romans alike. This tour is perfect for anyone with a love of Italian history, countryside or just great quality wine.

Meeting/ Pick up point: The meeting point is in the center of Piazza Re di Roma, in the exact center-point of the square.
Duration: Tour duration is 3 and a half hours.
Start or opening time: The tour is available from 01/04 to 31/07 and from 01/09 to 31/10 on Monday and Thursday at 2.15pm.
End or closing time::Approximately at 5.45pm.
