Your personal guide will expertly navigate your carriage through Historic Philadelphia, spinning tales of our Founding Fathers and the city that hosted them in 1776.


‘76 Carriage Company’s stately draft horses and certified drivers whisk you away on a handsome carriage ride through historic Philadelphia. This experience is perfect for a family outing during the day and a perfect way to enhance a romantic evening.


-Long (1 hour Tour): Covers Independence National Historical Park and Society Hill and Old City. This tour includes Betsy Ross House and much more!


-Medium (35 Minutes Tour): Covers Independence National Historical Park and Society Hill, America’s largest collection of original 18th century homes and churches.



Duration: 35 minutes or 1 hour, depending on the option chosen.

Start/opening time: Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Sunday from 9:30am to 6:30pm.

-End/closing time: Tours do not run on Christmas day and new year’s Day.
