Bulging from the top of the breath-taking Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower, the most important and beautiful church in Florence, the Duomo is easily the most iconic image of the city.

With early constructions starting as far back as the 13th century, it was finally completed back in the 15th century at the height of the Italian Renaissance. With all these centuries of history weighing down on it, as you tour the vast and impressive interior you will almost be able to feel the pressure of history reclining on your shoulders.

On this tour you will count with the company of a charming and knowledgeable guide who, well-versed in the history of the building, will be able to tell you all about its fascinating history, from the most distant significant events to the most recent. You will also learn all there is to learn about the stunningly preserved Frescos that fill up the interior of the structure, as well as the magnificent Baptistery of Florence.
