This tour goes beyond merely visiting the sites as your guide will help you to gain an insider’s look into the fascinating sociology of San Francisco. Take in Vista Point at Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Union Square, Treasure Island and much more before boarding a boat to cruise the San Francisco Bay. Sail along the famous coastline, historic waterfront and around the infamous Alcatraz Island passing directly under the Golden Gate Bridge as you return to the harbour.


Admire the sheer size and scale of the Golden Gate Bridge. Measuring 1.7 miles, it has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers and is approaching its 80th birthday. Your guide will lead you to Vista Point and many other photo stops to enjoy spectacular views over the bridge and the city. Then head into the city itself to get a feel for the true atmosphere of San Francisco.


Explore the city’s diversity as you take in its Chinatown, Castro District, Union Square, Twin Peaks and much more. Your local guide will punctuate the tour with interesting facts about the history and sociology if each stop. The tour also includes a 24 hour hop-on/hop-off ticket on San Francisco’s tourist bus that allows you to tour the city and get off and on the many buses whenever you please. Finish your memorable tour with a cruise of San Francisco Bay, sailing around the notorious prison island of Alcatraz, Angel Island and past Pier 39’s Sea Lions.
