Come and see the sunrise over Barcelona from a stunning viewpoint high in the Collserola hills. You'll see the whole city spread out far below you as the rising sun tinges the scene with a rosy glow. Spot the main landmarks, including the Sagrada Familia, the FC Barcelona Stadium and the Agbar Tower. On a clear day you may even get to see the peaks of the island of Mallorca and the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees to the north.

Then after having taking some memorable snaps we'll go down the other side of the hills, heading for the Vallvidrera reservoir where you may want to stop for breakfast (at your own expense). This area was once a cool summer retreat where the wealthy from Barcelona would come to spend the torrid summer months, now they live there all year round. We'll explore the Collserola nature reserve with its varied plant communities including forests of Aleppo pines, evergreen oaklands, and scrub and a rich and varied wildlife. We'll also discover the area's rich historical and artistic heritage, some of the treasure you'll find here include mediaeval churches and Roman villas.
