Visit one of the most beautiful capital cities of Europe, the Paris of the East, with its world famous monuments before being pampered in one of the city’s best spas.

The first stop is Castle Hill, the district locally known as Varnegyed which is famed for its wonderful mixture of medieval, baroque and 19th century architecture. Here you can enjoy breathtaking views over Budapest and the Danube so be sure to bring your camera. It is also the location of the iconic Royal Palace. This magnificent Neo-Baroque structure houses the Hungarian National Gallery and the Budapest History museum.

Learn more about Hungarian history at the biggest and most spectacular square of Budapest: Heroes’ Square. Constructed in the 19th century to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of the Magyar conquest of Hungary, its focal point is the incredibly tall Millennium Column. Pass by the elegant Opera House on Andrassy Avenue and be stunned by the immense beauty of the third largest Parliament building in the world.

After all that sightseeing, prepare to unwind and relax the body and mind at the one of Budapest’s premier spas. Located in the Gellert Hotel, the Gellert Spa offers the visitor luxurious thermal baths, plunge pools, saunas, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a masseuse service. Aside from these, the building itself is to be admired with its colourful ceramic tiles, Roman-style columns, stone lion heads and fantastic Art Nouveau glass roof. Feel free to stay as long as you like and to let the stresses and strains slowly ebb away.

Start/opening time: At 10am and 2.30pm. In case of choosing the tour at 2.30pm, the access to the Spa will last one hour an a half as it is closed at 8pm.
