Feel the pulse of the engine, roll down the windows and enjoy this unforgettable self drive tour of Prague in a Trabant. The ever popular 70’s car can still be seen around the streets of this beautiful city and now it is your opportunity to do things as the locals do.
This is the ideal tour for those who love driving but want to experience something a little different from today’s modern, luxury cars. Known fondly as ‘the plastic fantastic’ the East German made Trabant offers a whopping three gear, 2 stroke engine and will ‘whisk’ you safely around the streets of Prague in authentic style. The three hour tour starts with a brief driving lesson from a professional instructor to give you the opportunity to get to grips with the controls. Then you are set free to weave your way around the streets of the city and to unleash the retro enthusiast hidden inside you.
It is easy to imagine yourself travelling back in time and place to an altogether different communistic block at the wheel of this beloved car, even more so as you see the beautiful old buildings of Prague pass you by. You are guaranteed to fall in love with the car but all too soon your time at the wheel will have to come to an end. To make up for it though, the tour will finish with a traditional glass of vodka or Czech beer accompanied by some local appetizers in one of Prague’s many quaint taverns.
