Traveling along the James Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay and Arctic Ocean, we have great opportunity to view Caribou and Musk Ox in Alaska’s arctic. Your Arctic Ocean Tour / Prudhoe Bay Tour day begins right at your Fairbanks accommodation.
As we travel towards Prudhoe Bay, along the famous Alaska Oil Pipeline, your 4-day tour will be full with fun, information and lots of time to enjoy the beautiful land of the Interior and Arctic of Alaska. Our experienced Alaskan Driver/Guide will answer your questions and endeavor to make this tour the highlight of your Alaskan vacation. At our rest stops, you can purchase breakfast and dinner.


4-day itinerary

1st Day:

7:00am departure from Fairbanks. Trans-Alaska-Pipeline – Get a close up view of the famous pipeline and learn interesting facts about the engineering and building period. Breakfast at Hilltop, a rustic truck stop. Cross the mighty Yukon River. Arctic Circle – Have your picture taken at Arctic Circle and receive your Arctic Circle Certificate. Coldfoot – Visit the state-of-the-art visitor center at the famous halfway stop along the D.alton Highway . Dinner at Coldfoot Camp. Spend a romantic night in the gold mining village of Wiseman. (With fully occupancy, we stay in Coldfoot.)


2nd Day:

Continental breakfast. Gates of the Arctic National Park – Astonishing peaks, great views and with a little luck you will spot Grizzly Bears and Dall Sheep. Arctic Tundra – Experience the beautiful arctic and view Musk Ox and Caribou in their natural habitat. Deadhorse – Enjoy a sightseeing tour thru the supplying town for Prudhoe Bay. There are no families live here, no schools. Dinner in Prudhoe Bay. Check in Deadhorse accommodation.


3rd Day:

Continental breakfast. Prudhoe Bay Alaska– Visit the oil field and touch the edge of the mystic Alaska Arctic Ocean. Drive back through Arctic Tundra and Brooks Range. Dinner at Coldfoot camp. Overnight in our accommodations in Wiseman. (With fully occupancy, we stay in Coldfoot).


4th Day:

Morning hike through historic Wiseman and along the Koyukuk River. Late breakfast at Coldfoot Camp. Finger Mountain – A short nature hike in a beautiful high plateau above the tree line. Yukon River – Walk right to the edge of Alaska’s most famous river. It will impress you with its majesty and history. Dinner at Yukon Camp. Joy Alaska, the Arctic Circle Trading Post. 10:00pm arrival at your location in Fairbanks.
