The open-top deck of a bus is the best way to see Washington DC. Sit back and relax as you are transported past the iconic landmarks that make America’s Capital so recognizable and special. Along the way, you can learn about the city's history by listening to the entertaining and informative commentary. Your hop-on, hop-off ticket also provides you the freedom to get off the bus to explore and visit attractions. Buses run regularly so re-joining the tour is easy.

Stops include The White House, U.S. Capitol, Air and Space Museum, Natural History Museum, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Pentagon, Ford Theatre, Washington National Cathedral, and many others.

Tour is available for 1 or 2 days. Includes Red Loop, Blue Loop, Yellow Loop, Green Loop and Night Tour. 2 Day option includes a Potomac River Cruise, offered daily from April 15 – October 15.


Meeting/pick-up point: Start the tour at any of the stops, or at stop #1 located at Union Station Main Hall 50 Massachusetts Avenue N.E. Washington, D.C. 20002.

Start/opening time: Daytime buses operate from 9am to 5pm daily, and run approximately every 20-30 minutes. Night Tour starts at 6:30pm April-September and 7:30pm October-March.

Languages: Red Loop and Night Tour include live guide in English. Blue Loop includes pre-recorded commentary in 8 languages and Yellow and Green Loops include pre-recorded commentary in English only.

Others: Tours do not operate on Christmas Day.
