It will certainly be a fun experience to interact with sumo wrestlers and hear their everyday life with a chanko hot pot dinner, which is a soul food for wrestlers. Feel free to ask them any question such as what do they do on holiday, what kind of practice they do, how much they eat, learn more about the traditional techniques used during the tournaments, and eat a well-balanced healthy chanko-nabe hot pot!



Enjoy a special chanko dinner at Chanko-ba restaurant.

In this special dinner package, besides chanko hot pot, you can also, enjoy black pork cuisine from Kagoshima area.


Sample menu:

- Chanko-nabe (sumo wrestlers' one-pot dish containing vegetables and big chunks of meat and fish, all cooked at the table)

- Black pork hamburg

- Black pork steak

- Gyoza dumping

- Salad

- Pork miso

- Sorbet ice cream


Beverage is not included and available at additional fee, such as Sake, sho-chu, beer, wine, and whiskey.


*If active sumo wrestler is not available, just-retired sumo wrestler will be arranged instead.

Having dinner with sumo wrestler is very rare that even Japanese people cannot usually experience.

End/closing time: 8pm.
