BukchonHanok Village was once a village of aristocrats long ago, and its luxury tile-roofed houses called Giwas have been preserved since the Joseon Dynasty. Now, the village operates as a place where visitors come to experience the ambiance of the Joseon Dynasty, offering a cultural center and hanok-style restaurants were recently built inside the complex, presenting a more enjoyable experience for all visitors.

First of all, this tour will bring you to the Changdeok Palace, representative of the Korean tradition and culture; there is nothing higher up the list than the Changdeokgung Palace in the heart of this bustling metropolis. Changdeok Palace was built in 1405 by King Taejong, Changdeok is the best preserved of all of Seoul’s palaces. It has its own unique architectural beauty including a pond in harmony with the old palace buildings, provide a serene and cozy atmosphere for all to enjoy.



According to the Korea Tourism Organization, the best time to visit the palace is in autumn, when the leaves start to fall. During winter, the palace’s roof is powdered with white snow.



Then, you will visit to the Bukchon villige, where you can find hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to ""northern village,"" came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno.. In Bukchon that has over 600 years of history surrounding it many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants, and tea houses, providing you with an opportunity to experience also learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture.
