Program details

With so much to see and explore, why not start with Belem Tower, the most emblematic of all the historical monuments of Lisbon and the Monument to the Discoveries, a tribute to all the great figures that put the name of Portugal on all 4 corners of the world. There is time to visit the Belém Cultural Centre, which houses the Berardo Museum, home to the most interesting collection of modern and contemporary art in Portugal.

You cannot leave Belém, without tasting the famous Pastel de Belém, one of the most famous Portuguese pastries, and an icon of Portuguese gastronomy.

Next head to the centre of Lisbon and the monumental Trade Plaza with its famous arcades and the Triumphal Arch of Rua Augusta. Climb to Chiado, the most cosmopolitan shopping area of the capital where you can see some of the oldest cafes in the capital, and poetry lovers can even take a picture with the statue of the great poet Fernando Pessoa.

Enjoy free time for lunch. You will be given suggestions on some of the best areas to eat. Continue as you cross the spectacular square of Plaza Pedro IV, commonly known as Rossio to admire its cobbled streets brimming with charm and history and stroll along the Avenida da Liberdade, where you will find the shops of the world's biggest names in fashion, skirted the Marquis of Pombal and stopped in Eduardo VII park to enjoy views over Lisbon.

Make the way to the steep, zigzagging streets of the old town to the impressive Cathedral and the Alfama district, with its quaint houses.

Finally, visit São Jorge Castle located on top of the highest hill in Lisbon. Get ready to watch the most beautiful sunset in the world.

Please bear in mind that the visit is designed to meet your needs, so you can choose to visit other places such as the Parque de las Naciones, the National Coach Museum, the National Pantheon, the church of San Antonio or the Santa Justa Lift, to name but a few.
