One of the historic chowkries in the 18th, century planned city of Jaipur, the block has an association with the Modis (trader communities) with its Havelis, Temples, public buildings, and craft areas it is a unique representation of the living heritage of the city. This one & a half to two hours of walk provides an interactive, innovative encounter with the trading communities of the old city. With some storytelling from our resident guides, this walk reveals the lifestyle, craft activities and historic buildings to small groups of interested and inquisitive clients.



This tour begins from Chaura Raasta (Road) in front of Golcha Cinema Hall (Movie theatre) and takes you to local artisans who you can observe in their small workshops, visit a private collection of renowned painters and enjoy a cup of tea in a historic Haveli belonging to a local antique collector; beautifully decorated with rich tapestries, carpets and rare artifacts this palace is truly one of its kind.
